My buddies are a whole lot more "gung-ho" than I am when it comes to working on cars. There are a lot of times that I baby my z a little too much when working on it and it takes me a lot longer to accomplish something than it would them. They, on the other hand, tend to use brute force after a few minutes of fighting with it, which is the result you see here. I'm not blaming them for breaking the pump, it was definitely a group effort but I did pose the question of the crank possibly getting damaged and they assured me it would be fine. Although, in reality, their guess was as good as mine as far as what the crank might suffer. But it's done now, so all I can do is hope it's alright. Thanks for your concern!
